What benefits do Jump Start students and their families enjoy?
| Time | Attend your first class at DMAC and you will be on your way to earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2 ½ years. Each semester offers you an opportunity to take two classes (one during each 7 ½ week session). While you are already working in the industry following graduation from DMAC, your classmates still will have 1 ½ or 2 more years to study for their Bachelor’s degree. |
| Money | Earlier graduation with your BFA degree will allow you faster access to the labor market. Start your career and earn your digital artist salary sooner, while the rest of your class is still in college. |
| Comfort | You already know that DMAC provides an intimate environment with small class sizes and plenty of faculty interaction. However, getting a handle on your college career by starting with just one class while you are still in high school will offer you a smoother transition to becoming a full-time college student once you graduate from high school. When you do become a full-time college student, your class load will be lighter too as you will already have credits for the important art classes! |
| Fun | You love art. While still in high school you will experience exciting art classes that some colleges only offer starting in the Junior year of the Bachelor’s program. Jump start program classes include the fun art classes – no general education classes are included as you can see below! Explore art classes with this program and make sure that the Bachelor of Fine Arts is exactly what you need and want before you commit to the full degree enrollment. |
